OUR STORY
A JOURNEY FROM ITS ROOTS TO THE FUTURE
THE FIRST STEP INTO THE INDUSTRY
It all began in 1951 in a small, 5 m² shop in Buldan. Mehmet Dönmez stepped into business life through the yarn trade. Registered with the Chamber of Commerce and holding the tax number GA-3, Mehmet Dönmez was the third registered tradesman in the region and also held one of the first personal tax numbers of that era.
This small shop was not merely a commercial beginning; it was where the foundations of a trust-based production culture and a family tradition were laid.
THE FIRST STEP TOWARD PRODUCTION
The year 1973 marked the opening of a new chapter in the family story. Ihsan Donmez took his first step into the industry by joining his father, Mehmet Donmez. These years were the beginning not only of learning the trade, but of discovering the value of production and shaping the direction of the future.
It was precisely during this period that Buldan's deep-rooted weaving tradition became part of the family's production. The production of Buldan cloth began. The earliest production was carried out on a contract-manufacturing basis. Traditional weaving knowledge gradually began to meet a modern approach to production.
THE FIRST PRODUCTION FACILITY
The year 1996 was an important turning point in the family's production journey. İhsan Dönmez established the first production facility, making the transition from small-scale workshop production to a corporate production infrastructure.
The goal was no longer simply to produce. Standardizing production quality, advancing production expertise, and building a stronger infrastructure became the core objectives of this new era. This step laid the foundation for the brand's future growth.
